  1. Best there is

I have had ProGrip Brake System since May 2017. From daily driving to on the trail, these brakes have been a lifesaver for me and my JK. Holding back on cliffs to slamming on my brakes due to another driver on the pavement. The ProGrip Brake System is the best you’ll find. Super easy to install is a huge plus took roughly 2 hours to do all four. This is the brake system that will always be on my daily driver/weekend warrior

  2. Excellent, After install you really realize how bad your OEM brakes are. 5 Stars

I have a 2015 JKU with a 2.5 inch lift, Rock Hard 4 x 4 Steel bumpers both front and back total weight about 300lbs, Dual Batteries, Just added 35 inch tires. Before I added 35 inch tires I noticed stopping power seemed to be bad. I did a lot of research on Big Brake Kits and found that the Dynatrac ProGrip Performance Brake Kit was the way to go. Took me a total of 2 hours to install on all four wheels. Biggest plus is that you use your OEM Caliper, so no brake bleeding. I followed the break-in steps and after the break-in and not using full braking power i notice a absolutely hug difference in breaking power. Previously I had to press the pedal half way down to really feel any breaking power. I didn't realize how bad it was until these big breaks. The system is a direct bolt-on for 2007-2018 Jeep Wranglers and it includes: 13.50-inch front rotors with unique pillar-vented cooling design 14.25-inch rear rotors with integral parking brake surface Stronger caliper brackets designed using CAD/FEA and advanced engineering tools Unique front and rear brake pads for optimum friction performance The Dynatrac ProGrip Brake System fits Jeep Wranglers with 17-inch wheels (wheel spacers are required with 17-inch factory wheels), and the system will fit in nearly all aftermarket wheels without spacers. Summation: Night and day difference, not a small kinda ok it makes a bit of difference. It is huge, barely touch the brake and you feel a progressive strong no nose dive braking power. Cost is about $1000.00 but definitely worth the cash

  3. Excellent stopping power over my stock set.

Great improvement with my full set of Progrip brakes with my 40” tires on 17x8.5 3.5 BS trail ready beadlocks. Front set finished off my upgraded ultimate PR44 and the rear set finished my upgrades on my Built 44. I will swap them over when I upgrade to the HP 60 rear.

  4. Awesome stopping power!

I've had these brakes on my 2016 JK Rubicon Hard Rock for about 6 months now and I can say they are simply awesome! Not that I could afford to do this, but straight from the dealer and into the shop for Rubicon Express 4.5" heavy duty long arm suspension, RIPP supercharger, 17" Hutchinson dual Brad locks, with 37" BFGs (still kicking myself for not going 40" Goodyear wrangler MTRs), Metal Cloak steel flat fenders and full Metal Cloak Under Armor (their name, not mine), etc., etc. What I'm saying is I added a ton of weight (half literal)! When the girl t it back with stock breaks? Accident waiting to happen! Especially with a supercharger thrown in! Dynatrac ProGrips are lifesavers! Break dust? Umm...yeah, so what? My '99 TJ has break dust too. But then again, the whole Jeep usually has some kind of dust on it. It's a Jeep! If I wanted something that shined all the time, I would have bought a Mercedes or some other fancy pants shiny road trophy! Like I could afford that either (maybe so since there's no reason to put a lift on)! Forget that! I'm keeping my ProGrips! And I'm not even going to wash it!

  5. Excellent Brake Upgrade Kit!

I’ve been running the ProGrip Brakes for a few weeks now. I’m happy with them on all levels. They are quiet. They bite and grip smoothly like stock but only harder and sooner. I would recommend this kit to anyone that is rolling 37’s or larger and wants to stop like they were stock again. Great job Dynatrac!

  6. Nice To Have Brake Feel Back!
    Overall Rating

My '13 JKU has run 37's for about 2 years on stock brakes. I finally had a chance to upgrade to Dynatrac's Pro Grip kit. I should have done this long ago! On stock brakes I was using about 75-90% of the brake travel to come to a normal stop. Extreme braking situations were scary to say the least.

The install went smooth and easy. It always seems with any install there's some snag you run into that costs hours on the install, but not here. Everything was engineered perfectly and bolted right on. I was back on the road after 4 hours and stopped for lunch half way through.

First impressions were I better make sure I wear my seatbelt or these brakes are going to launch me through the windshield! I'm using so much less pedal travel and force to come to a regular stop than I was before. I'm only using 50-60% of pedal travel to come to a quick stop. It's so reassuring to know that I still have plenty of travel in case of an emergency stop. Great job Dynatrac!

  7. Great stopping power, Brake dust DESTROYED my $3000 wheels
    Overall Rating

    PRO
I have had these brakes for a year now. I have 22" wheels on 40" tires and they do a great job stopping me fast and hard when needed. I love the feel of the Brakes and would reccomened them to anyone who doesn't care if their wheels get destroyed in the process...let me explain.

    MASSIVE CON:
After a week or two of initial driving I started to notice this brownish colored stuff sticking to the sidewalls of my tires. There was tons of brake dust (more than a German car) that I would wipe off my wheels daily, but it took me some time to figure out that the brown stuff on my tire sidewalls was also brake dust.

To reduce the brake dust I bought hawk performance, low-dust, ceramic brake pads, which did reduce dust quite a bit. But the high dust issue still existed. My discovery is that this dust is from the actual rotors themselves.

Now a year later my tires have hard-to-remove brown film on the sidewalls, and my wheels have permanently discolored and started to corrode due to the brake dust, despite my diligent efforts to wipe off the brake dust regularly.

I am now in the process of ordering Teraflex BBK to see if they are any better. I can't handle this brake dust battle anymore. My $3000 wheels are destroyed.

  8. Junk pads
    Overall Rating

The larger rotor is nice but as others stated the claim they fit 17" wheels is not so accurate.

I have had these just over a year and almost 5,000 miles. The Jeep has 50k miles total is not driven everyday and when I do, my commute is 1.8 miles. Trail driven but not over the top hard core. My pads are shot. All pads are even wear so no mechanical failure.

  9. Excellent Braking Power
    Overall Rating

I could not be happier with this system. On the very first day I had to make an emergency stop that would have resulted in a crash with the stock brakes. As someone else here said, these should be mandatory with a lift kit and larger tires. They brake straight and hold really well.
