plenty of stopping powerI've had the progrip system on for a week now and couldn't be happier with it. There is a huge improvement in breaking capabilities on my Jeep. I'm running slightly larger then stock tires and always felt as though it took a good amount of effort to bring it to a halt. With the progrip breaks its stops with ease. The only negative comment I have is that I had a bunch of metal fillings left in the of the holes in the calliper bracket for the sliders. I noticed it because the slider seized when I put it in place. not really a defect just a QC issue. As far as function goes, far exceeded my expectations!

Good stopping power, not for 17" wheels, lots of dustI have waited a few months to write this review to allow the brakes to break in. We do not drive a lot of miles during the week. This is for a 2007 JKU Rubicon with 45k miles. Obviously babied, always garaged, and lives in beautiful Boise Idaho. I will get the bad news out of the way:
Bad:
DOES NOT fit 17x9" Mickey Thompson wheels with 4.5" BS, despite what is written online and what the tech support assured me over the phone.
Again, waiting for a long break in period to ensure the pads set well with the rotors yet they still produce a tremendous amount of brake dust!
Good:
These brakes work! I feel a lot more confident in braking power and no longer have the dreaded nose dive in a hard braking situation. My JKU has 35" tires, and heavily armored all around.Posted on

Excellent productI installed the ProGrip brakes on my JK and I was very happy with the performance and feel of them, especially with the weight I had added to the Jeep and my 35's. Then I hooked up my off-road trailer and was even more impressed. I can stop the entire rig loaded up as short or shorter than I could the Jeep alone on stock brakes. I would highly recommend anyone considering upgrading their JK brakes to go with this kit.

Should be a mandatory mod for a JK w/4"lift and 37'sI installed this on my 2013 JKUR on 37's. Brings back stock performance and pedal feel for your big tire JK. Also completely removes the nose dive under heavy braking! Completely lives up to the hype!!

Perfect solution for my brakingI had the Teraflex kit on my rig to help with braking. It definitely helped, but I wanted more so I installed these on my JK with 37" tires. HUGE improvement even over the Teraflex kit.

Excellent producti had the pro grip system installed in my 2013 JKU in feb 2015 .I noticed that with all the weight from the armor ,bumpers,axle upgrades and 37 inch tires that my jeep had become harder to stop.I would literally stand on the pedal if I had to stop short or was on a steep incline.Now with the pro grip package I can achieve the same braking results with half the effort plus the jeep no longer nose dives under heaven braking and has a more balanced overall feel.When I brake now the jeep remains level,stops on a dime and my confidence in its braking ability is high.I no longer have to give myself a ton of room to bring my rig to a full stop.Thanks dynatrac for another great product and making my jeep that much safer on the road .Job well done
