Poor FinishRecently installed the Free Spin kit with DynaLoc Hubs on my 2012 RAM 2500. After two weeks the steel part of the hub beyond the wheel started showing a great deal of surface rust. With as expensive as this setup is, this amount of rust on a truck after only exposure to water is unacceptable. I always keep my truck clean, so this is not the result of mud or being left with mud or dirt on it. The rust was after a little moisture, we don't get that much rain here. Other than poor finish, I like the way they function. Reduces front end drag, improves efficiency. But come on, at this price point the finish sucks.

PhenomenalAn absolutely awesome product. Super Easy install for the experienced and not bad for the lesser. I literally gained a full 1 mpg in my dually on 37s. Make sure to order the spanner socket up front. I do wish it was included in the kit. Also the factory axle nut was a 1 5/16 on my 12 and 14 trucks. The instructions say 1 11/16. But that’s my only “issues”. 10/10 on this one.

I recommend this kitAfter looking at several kits, I chose the dynatrac for my 2012 ram truck. I had 107k miles and my wheel bearing was starting to fail. I had my brother-in-law help me do the install since he is a mechanic by trade. I am glad I did. I would have been dead in the water once I got to removing the u joint. He had a special snap on tool to remove u joints and ball joints that without that tool, I most likely would have damaged the u joint. Other than the removal and install of the u joint, I believe that it is pretty straight forward job. Having an impact wrench definitely helps.

Outstanding productThis is a must have for anyone looking to add some extra strength to the front of their newer Ram 2500/3500. Get rid of the problematic unit bearing and run some tapered roller bearings. Simple install, easy enough to do in your driveway even.
