About 8,000 miles in to my journey with the JL Wrangler we swapped out the weak 44 (with FAD) my JL Rubicon came with for one of these awesome units from Dynatrac. I’ve done over 20,000 miles with this axle through some of the toughest terrain the western United States offer. 2 trips to Moab, Colorado, ran through the Rubicon, and many trails in Southern California. This axle has taken some hits that I know would have had devastating consequences if I still had the front axle disconnect. Worth every penny!
