Even with 35s and beadlocks the factory brakes left a lot to be desired, and would not stop the jeep when doing steep descents. The low range would drive through the brakes even on a moderate descent. When swapping to 37s (still on 17" beadlocks), a PR44 axle housing, and adding permanent "overland" accessories, bigger better brakes were necessary. The brake kit was an easy, one man driveway install. Parts quality was high, and fitment was great. These brakes delivered the stopping power they advertised. Any downhill grade, any load out, any gear, I can confidently stop the jeep. Most importantly I can stop the jeep dropping down the steepest obstacles, which gives me the confidence to explore.
