40-Spline ARB Air Locker Available Exclusively Through Dynatrac
ARB and Dynatrac™ introduce the 40-spline ARB Air Locker, available exclusively through Dynatrac for the ProRock XD60™. This version of the ARB Air Locker has been engineered to accept 40-spline axleshafts and oversized Dynatrac ProRock XD™ carrier bearings. It is also equipped with the industry’s first oversized carrier bearing trunnion that will not deform or cone-out under severe loads.
This new version of the trusted ARB Air Locker adds even more strength and durability to extreme applications that need 40-spline axleshafts in the all-new Dynatrac ProRock XD60, which is available in both front and rear axle applications. In addition to accepting the massive 40-spline axleshafts, the new ARB Air Locker case has been engineered for additional strength where the axleshafts enter the differential. The Air Locker also accepts oversized Dynatrac ProRock XD carrier bearings that are the largest for any axle in the industry.

The new Dynatrac ProRock XD60 starts with a center section cast from high-strength nodular iron. The patented design provides the best ground clearance in the industry. The axle was designed to hold a larger differential and 10.1-inch ring gear, providing a 16 percent strength increase over 9.75-inch Dana 60 gears. Using CAD/FEA and advanced engineering tools, Dynatrac designed the new center section for increased rigidity, increasing the stability of critical tolerances during high stress for better durability. All of these improvements were achieved while also making the center section 15 percent lighter. The ProRock XD60 also has optimal cast-in features for air locker and electric locker connections.
